Obsidian QMD
Local semantic search for Obsidian.
Bridges Obsidian with a local QMD daemon for fast, private semantic search: keyword, vector, hybrid, and advanced modes, a related-notes sidebar, and automatic re-indexing when notes change.
All processing runs on your machine. The plugin auto-detects the QMD binary on PATH, keeps a collection in sync with the vault, and answers from a daemon that is already warm.
The related-notes view stays open in the sidebar; the search modal finds notes by meaning and shows context snippets; results can be inserted into the active note as wikilinks.
This is the search layer behind the author's own vault and the one that answers agents' questions about it.
